Good to hear from you, Teddy, and welcome back here in Blogville. Even though I live thousands of miles from your area, I am also monitoring Damian's path. I am hoping and praying that it may change course or weaken, but that is unlikely. The National Hurricane Centre has become pretty accurate in their forecasting. Hunker down and take care, my friend. We are all praying for you. Let's hope that Brooke and Sal are spared Damian's wrath. Big warm hugs for all of you.

Hey Teddy; I had my profile in stasis too so that the blog-bully could have a rest. I'll mention your sorrow to Bret in my next email. He misses not being on here too, but right now is really busy with harvest.

Hey SwishNSwallow2. Don't think we have been formally introduced. My name is Roger from Alberta, Canada. I have noticed your extensive research work on the blog-bully and appreciate your talents in that regard. Enjoy reading your posts.

Conner and Ricky. It is my pleasure to meet your acquaintances, and I'm honored to be in your network of friends.

Hurricane Damian appears to be gaining strength and size every hour. I hope those in its path can either evacuate or hunker down and ride out this one.

I do not like what Dorian plans to do !! The newest track shows "that nasty boy" riding Florida's coastline into Georgia !! We will be on the nasty side of whatever it may be. We are already getting ready !! Brooke, I hope you are paying attention, too !!

Thanks for letting me know. I had noticed that Julie had been friended. We are all hoping and praying that Dorian turns back out to sea.

I'm so happy to see all the friendship and offers of help to those affected by storm Dorian (I have mistakenly called it Damian in the past). This storm is progressing frustratingly slow, increasing the agony of anticipation for those along its predicted path. I am hoping all our friends weather the storm without harm.

Changing the topic for a sec, we had a serious train derailment just outside our small village at 7:10 this morning. The entire train consisted of tanker cars loaded with petroleum products. One car containing octane was leaking, so there was an evacuation until the leak could be stopped. Luckily, no fire or explosion. Highway traffic will be detoured around the crash site for several days. From my vantage point, I can see at least 6 heavy cranes and other heavy equipment on site to clean up the tangled mess, before the tracks can be rebuilt. It is interesting to note that the rails were replaced by a railway crew 4 days ago in the exact location of the derailment.
