Strange Coming Outs!!! Did you know that during the wonderful week of March between the 23rd and the 30th, six of our fabulous musical divas have birthdays... in order they are...Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. And in that same week, the beautiful and talented gay actor, songwriter and singer, Jay Brannan has a birthday as well. You may know him from "Holding Trevor" or "Shortbus," but here's a picture of him for you. So during these fabulous "Diva Days," I will be drinking, partying and celebrating with some damn good music!  And that is the kind of fun, irrelevant but fascinating shit you will find out about in my blog. The way I see, we think being gay is about having sex, having a good time. Nothing really wrong with that. Some of us more evolved may take some time to study or research, perhaps even appreciate Stonewall, Harvey Milk and other relevant parts of our gay history. I gravitate towards the more shallow side of things. I want to know about hot men and eye candy. I need to know what's gay in music and television, and I want to support our artists, rather they are on the the silver screen, the small screen or the big stage. I'm interested in stuff that appeal to my homosexual lifestyle and my gay inner being. I'm calling it gay pop culture for now, but when you've had enough, or come up with something else, you let me know. As I welcome comments, and hell, may even get some ideas for my next or future post. You will this kind of information, as well as relevant polls and pictures. Now since most of my pictures will be of male celebrities, I will try to make them as hot as I can, but they will not be nude. Those will stay in my private collection! I had written a fabulous introduction, as you know if you read my first post, but sadly, it got lost before it was posted. Probably talked too much about me anyway, but still, at least you know what the blog is about! There is an interesting new trend going on among celebrities. It seems that they may be, possibly, questionably, coming out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual transgendered, etc. For example, it has been suggested that both Harry Styles and Mike Posner have composed songs for themselves with lyrics that could be construed as an indication of their bisexuality. Joey Pollari, from the movie, "Love, Simon," has come out as gay, and apparently, so has the brother of the actor playing the lead. The same might be true for Corey Michael Smith, who plays the Riddler in "Gotham." Kevin McHale, who played the wheelchair-bounded Artie in "Glee," posted what appears to be two guys holding hands and saying those three magical words in sign language. It is believed that the other hand belongs to Austin MacKenzie, an acclaimed Broadway actor. I had to look this up because I thought they were talking about MacKanzie Astin, who use to play in "The Facts of Life." I first came across this trend when Lee Pace, who you may know from the Hobbit series, Guardians of the Galaxy, the acclaimed movie, "Soldier's Girl" or the short lived, acclaimed television series, "Pushing Daisies," accidentally admitted that he had been with both men and women during an interview. I have posted a picture of him for you here, and he has since come out as a member of the queer community.  So the Olympics ended exactly one month ago, and apparently everyone had a gay ole time. Everyone started off on Gus Kenworthy, an openly gay skier I believe. I think he recently came out and may be dating someone, but he was expected to do big things. And even after getting a tweet from Britney Spears, wishing him good luck, he didn't live up to the hype. I will say, he does have an awesome looking ass! Then there was that Adam Rippon, who made a splash for make some sort of political stand against Trump and his anti-gay policies. Then stories about Rippon and this harness he wore somewhere. I think even now, they are talking about Kenworthy, who with his fiance, may have publically contacted Ricky Martin and his other half about a possible hookup? Now, Martin, who has been showing ass, along with the gorgeous Darren Criss in that Versace series, has been making the rounds talking about open relationships, so who knows where that will go. But slipping under the radar this whole time is that fact that the beautiful Eric Radford, became the first openly gay man to win a gold medal in any Winter Olympics. Congratulations, Eric Radford! I will drink to that with you!  And every post will have a "Gay of the Day," some openly gay male celebrity who happens to have my attention at the time. And this time it is Luke Evans. And the thing about Luke for me is he is gorgeous, but comes across as unapproachable. I've been trying to figure out if it is an air of arrogance I'm getting, perhaps a sense of superiority. Perhaps it is just something regal or majestic about him. Or should I say was? Because the character he is playing in TNT's hit show, "The Alienist," is so interesting. He is privileged, but helps the boys who work as girls on the streets. And although you know he is into women, his relationship with the main character, as well as the boys he helps out, make you question if he could be bisexual. And his devotion to the people he cares about is so amazing. The character has made me look at Luke Evans in a different way, softening my opinion of him and making him much more appealing to me.
