Anyway, thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. I'm a creative, artistic guy, but not high-maintenance...I'm also VERY romantic--the kind of guy who might send you flowers at work for no reason (but not if it would embarrass you in front of co-workers, because I'm also sensitive.) I like dogs better than cats, red wine more than white (but vodka best of all), comfort over style (and substance over style, too!), intellect over beauty (but who can pass up beauty, really?). Random thought: you can tell a lot about a person by observing how they treat people in service industries (like retail sales people, waiters/waitresses.) I am the service persons DREAM customer, because I know how awful it is to make a living that way. People can be AWFUL. So I go out of my way to be friendly, patient and grateful. And someone who is rude, impatient and unpleasant to service people will never be a friend of mine.
My last relationship lasted almost 11 years, so I think it's safe to say I'm in it for "the long haul." I really like having someone to share time with... watching movies (my favorite thing--Netflix was invented with me in mind!), working on projects around the house, taking my 3 spoiled basset hounds out for a walk, etc. I've made a promise to myself that this year I'll start taking advantage of the interesting festivals and events that Ketchikan has to offer...you?
Likes: cooking, reading, movies, artsy-craftsy stuff.
Dislikes: cell phones, negativism or pessimism, political correctness.
