Back from Florida for the summer. Here's the deal. I have a great place on Penns Creek that I'd like to share with guys who want to be able to kick back, and be themselves. I grew up in a small town and went to college not knowing anyone else who was gay. I spent years in both places feeling alone. Now when I look at these on-line services I've found 15 listings for guys in that small town and even more for the college town....who knew? A little about myself....I read a story once that described someone by saying "He was neither handsome nor ugly, and not what most people meant by 'plain' either. He was rather...nondescript but pleasant looking." That's me. My best features are my smile and my knees. My smile because I've had a couple guys tell me, that I had "the most amazing smile" they'd ever seen. But I can only do it if I'm not thinking about it. If I try to do it I think it looks more like a smirk. My knees (my left knee anyway) because I have an awesome scar from when I fell on a piece of glass as a kid. All of the other parts are pretty much standard. I taught elementary and high school for a while, helped coach a state championship wrestling team, worked for a long time for People Magazine in New York, did a lot of traveling for the magazine. Way over the big city scene, but it was fun while it lasted (lots of stories there). So if your idea of a good time is sitting around a campfire by the creek enjoying a beverage or two (or sitting in front of the fireplace if its too cold outside), walking the hiking trail next to my place, tubing or kayaking on the creek, or relaxing in the hot tub, come find me.
My Ideal Person:
trustworthy, loyal, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, courteous, kind, brave, clean, and reverent...they're not in the right order and I might have made some up or missed some...but you get the idea, unless you were never a boy scout.
