I'm something of an intellectual. I have many passionate interests and many topic "buttons" that can be pushed; people tell me I'm an interesting conversationalist. I'm pretty easygoing (no "drama") and masculine-acting (no gay mannerisms). I think of myself as being kindly and gentle and forgiving, even to a fault (i.e., when others have taken advantage of it) because I abhor meanness and cruelty.
I don't care for bars; I prefer outdoor activities like hiking or bicycling or canoeing or get-togethers at restaurants, movies, museums and such. I'm something of an exercise nut; I bicycle, run, and lift weights. Staying in good shape is a high priority with me. As OP does not protect profiles against Google searching (try it and see!) I reserve face pictures only via email or in my network album.
I have a blog, outside of OP, which describes events in my life, as well as containing essays on subjects that interest me. It's probably the best way to find out about the "real me" behind the photos. If you're genuinely interested in me, and think that you and I are a good potential match, I will point you to it.
My Ideal Person:
I love younger guys and adore the smooth, fit, boyish look. I usually prefer those under-30 though looks counts for far more than actual age, plus I've become more flexible when it comes to looks, seeing attractiveness in a wider variety of "types". While I'm open to dating guys from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, recently I've discovered that East Asian men tickle my fancy (though again, not exclusively so). Sexually speaking, I'm mostly a "top". Right now I'm looking mostly for a boyfriend, a companion, a long-term relationship more than just sex.
What am I not into? Grossly overweight, very hairy ("bears") or offers of sex at public bathrooms and malls. I want people who have a real life, not someone who neglects their life and their body by sitting in front of computer screen trying to get sex during all their free time. Ideally, I would want someone I found interesting.
