| SAN FRAN WEEKEND |

Mood: Excited, 252 Views | Well, Tomorrow we head over to San Fran for another gay bowling tourney. I am excited to go since we always have such a great time and it seems like we meet new great people each time. Nice to have a few in this area that we can drive to and not have to deal with the airfare, tho with gas prices around here being around 4.50 might be cheaper to fly, lol.
Well, I will keep you updated on how we do. Patrick won some money at the Tampa tourney, and both lkng and myself won money at the San Jose tourney, so I guess we will see what happens.
We are bowling with a new friend of ours that we met at the san jose tourney and a friend of his, so it will be a new group but just as fun! Really only there for the fun but bowling good and winning always makes it SUPER.

| Another New Orleans OP meeting in the books |

Mood: cheerful, 395 Views |  | Another Great trip with great friends. I really wish you all could have been there.
This was our second year of having a bunch of op men meet in New Orleans and it was just as great as the first. We met some old friends and met some for the first time.
It was so great that Scougie could join us all the way from England. Wow was it nice to meet him for the first time. I just hope its not the last. He really has so much joy and energy to share with everyone that it just kept a smile on my face the whole time. I miss him already. Of course he did take countrykissers title away of gogo boy slut! Sorry CK, better luck next time.
Meeting Portland for the first time was great to. Him and sporty had a crazy drive after back up to oregon and they stopped here at our house on the way. That was actually nice because in all the fun and crazy time we really didnt get a chance to talk to Portland much, but made up for that by staying up til 2am the night they were here. It was great to see Sporty again and I wish them the best in their quest to enjoy life with a partner. As I have always said, its a great feeling!!!!
Then we met Reallygoodguy for the first time. Been chatting for awhile and it was great to meet him!! He is a great guy with the new nickname of skip. BUT, I do have to say there are rumors about where he would vanish to during all times of the day, lmao. He never really did say but we wondered if he found the bathhouse, lol. Thanks for coming RGG, hope to see you again!
Eastsider has only been on OP for a short time, but has been a friend of ours for awhile. He had many good times and we always knew where to find him after breakfeast, AT THE PUB.
And then our other friend from town, we will call him MR GAS. He has been to nola before and it was great to have him join us. He always has sex on the brain and keeps us laughing. BUT, fyi, he got his new nickname because while getting out of the Van he "tooted" as Markass was following him out. Gotta love those body functions huh.
Speaking of Markass, he was quite a good boy this time. Last year he had like 7 boyfriends by the end of the week, and this year he just had fun. Not really good since we need to find him some sexy short hunk to spend his life with. Guess I will have to work harder next time, but usually he just gets wild and wonders and meets men. Always a pleasure to see Mark as we have built up a great friendship.
CountryKisser did get in his usual gogo boy luvin, but there was no butts involved this time (that I know of). Ck has become one of our closest friends and I miss him even more each time we meet. He is one loving man and I hope someday he meets Mr right and we live in the same town as neighbors!!!! I am still waiting for him to send me his pictures because holt and I are aweful about taking them.
We also met a new friend. Lee is also from England and we were just sitting at good friends and we started talking. Scoogie was laughing cuz he traveled all this way and met a very close friend for years to come. Wow, does this man have a chest and butt on him. Truely yummy man with a great overall outlook. I think we all enjoyed having him around and hope somehow someway we can see him again someday.
We did a couple of wonderful trips. We saw a beautiful cemetery in meterie and rented the van to tour the plantations of laura and oak alley. Very nice times and very great people.
We did miss brad and his partner from florida this year as they did not make it, and we missed everyone that could not make it due to the lovely economy. We had several people back out and hope to meet more in the years to come.

| New Orleans OP trip in May |

Mood: anxious, 852 Views | Just wanted to do a post to anyone that doesnt know about our OP trip in May to New Orleans. Please mail me if your interested in the info. We have another great crowd of Men this year and I think it will be better than last year. Tons to do in the Big Easy.
Last year we had people unhappy after we got back saying they didnt know, so I am just making sure to try and give everyone a chance. It truely is fun to meet the people we chat with on a weekly basis and have become quite close to.
Let me know if you need some info.

| Wonderful Saturday with the CountryKisser |

Mood: Enjoyusness lol, 909 Views | Today will be nice. We both have the day off and we are gonna take CK to the flea market and to some wine tasting here in the lodi area. Then our friends would like us to stop by the bar later tonight so who knows if CK will be cramming money in someones thong again or if he will just drool over the bartender like he did on Thursday nite.
Its so great to have him here. He is family and (dont tell him I said this, but he loves to clean!!!!!) He is the perfect house guest.
Holts Bday is Monday and he said all he wanted was a housekeeper, So I am just going to destroy CK's ticket home and keep him here forever! Hmmmmm, maybe I should take back the navigation system I got for him if I can have CK for free, damn, think ahead more often.
Well, we are off pretty soon to have a nice day, if CK ever finishes getting ready. Holt and I have been ready for about 25 minutes, he is as bad as a girl when he irons and showers and primps!

Mood: Please Help, 1017 Views | Hey, I just wanted to thank everyone who has made a comment on my blogs. I think that if we take the time to write a blog and people take the time to read the blog that they should post a comment, short or long comment. Its makes things more interesting and maybe blog land wont die down as it has been and as I have heard some others complain about.

| Where to Move? |

Mood: limbo land, 1137 Views | Ok, so in my last blog I was excited about Florida. BUT, we really are just not sure where to move to.
We are both excited about the move to florida, and the weather is great there, and seems to be a great state for gay men to live. BUT, for the last year I have been pretty homesick and sometimes wonder if Seattle would be the better place to move because it does have the gay life and activities and it is only a 2.5hr drive away from my hometown with my friends and family! BUTTTTTT, I think everyone knows that Seattle gets it fair share of rainy days.
SO, its hard to decide because a move to florida with all of our CRAP could end up costing quite a few bucks, so I dont want to get there and regret it!
DOES ANYONE HAVE A CRYSTAL BALL I CAN BORROW???

| Great trip, great friends, great state, bowled like hell! |

Mood: Sad to be Home, 1106 Views | Well, Holt and I just got back from Tampa FL and we had a great time.
Started on Friday and we had a long day, left the house at 330am and went to the airport, landed around 5ish, rented the car and went to the hotel. Well, after checking into the hotel we rested for a few before going to orientaion for the bowling tourney and meeting a few people. BUT, we were pretty hungry, so away we went to get something to eat. We decided to go the same route as we have to in the morning to get to the bowling alley, and find food near there. SO, we do that and see the bowling alley, and then we find applebee's and decide that works since we are both kinda tired and hungry. WELL, after eating (aweful service & ok food) we head back to the hotel because we really are both beat. BUTT, little did we know it was going to be a two hour drive to get back since we got lost and Holt cant navigate to save anyones life. Finally, after getting a tour of the city of Tampa (and neither of us know where we were at all), we stopped and got directions and made it back finally!!!!!
Well, next day, Saturday, get up, get ready, and go to the alley, BUTT, omg, just like us it wasnt even the right bowling alley that we found the night before so holt asked and we found out that it was about a 10 min drive from this one. Good god, we need someone else to go to these things that navigates better so I can get places. Well, Saturday we bowled ok, but neither one of us bowled GREAT, holt did better than I did, but by the time we got to doubles he was done bowling good and i had two bad games and one 258. Oh well, we had fun. So, after we were all done we went with Lovah to get a bite to eat. Oh ya, he did finally get there in time to watch us for the doubles event, cuz the coot took a 5 hour nap instead of watching us early, lol, but thank god he finally got there. Dinner and conv. was great, we went back to our condo and chatted even more. Never enough time but a great start since we will see him again in New Orleans in just 3 months.
So after Charlie left we decided to go check in on the casino night for all the bowlers at the condo. Well, glad we did. We laughed our asses off all night long because those guys were nuts. Had a great time and met some fun people.
Well, next is Sunday and the TEam event. Again, neither of us did very well but we had fun. Our teammates were a gay man from ohio and a lesbian from new jersey (and her girlfriend) WOW, they were great people and we had fun. Well, after all done with bowling we went back to the condos, went to happy hour at the restaurant and then had the awards ceremony and ate good grub. THEN, after that we got lazy for a few but then we went to CitySide (gaybar) for happy hour for all of the people who had not taken off yet. WOW, we had so much fun there, had even more time to chat and get to know some fun ass guys and I was a little timpsy, lol, so on the way home patrick drove and lmao, of course got us lost and we almost ended up in st pete. OH well! we finally turned around and got back!
THEN, Monday we went over to see BRAD from outpersonals in orlando. Him and his partner were great hosts and showed us around the city and we had a great early dinner with them. We were going to get out of town early so I could sub on the gay league back in Tampa with my new friends, but didnt get out of their house til tooooo late because we were enjoying the conversation with friends. Very good to see them again and hope to see them again soon!
Well, bottom line is, we liked Orlando more than the Tampa area and might look at moving to that area instead.
AND AGAIN, IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GET ON A GAY BOWLING LEAGUE DO IT, THEY ARE SUCH A GREAT WAY TO MEET PEOPLE AND WE MET SOME FUCKING GREAT GUYS FROM MOSTLY FLORIDA BUT REALLY ALL OVER THE WORLD.
