| Let's Get Physical -- Part Two |

Mood: jubilant, 419 Views |  | After waiting since February 11th for the results of my blood tests, I drove to the doctor's office only to find that they don't give you the results in person or through the mail. I got the call from a female receptionist this morning. That always freaks me out because I have a male doctor. Luckily, the call was on voice mail when it was received. Enough suspense! The tests came out -- normal. Yay!!!
I am still diabetic and I am still bipolar with a moderate hearing loss. I am,therefore, "sweet" and "nuts". What's that he said? He has sweet nuts ????? hahahahahahaha |

| Let's Get Physical -- Part One |

Mood: scared, 471 Views |  | Last week, a bunch of the guys gathered in the Basement chatroom and we came upon the subject of "getting a physical". A yearly thing for us, I realized that some of the guys were reluctant to get a physical either because of lack of insurance or out of fear. I then discerned that out of pride and stubbordness, we guys simply refuse to go to doctors or hospitals for appointments, flu shots, blood tests and the like. As for me, I went for my physical last week and asked for blood tests to be administered for not only HIV / AIDS but STDs as well. (The blood tests were taken this morning.) The reason for this blog is to kindly suggest to you out there who need a physical and/or blood tests to do the same. If I can help save just one life, this blog will have been worth the writing. Finally, this is going to be Part One of Two because Part Two will let you know the results of my tests. Until then, let's pray for each other. Many thanks. |

| A Gr8 Way 2 Start the Day |

Mood: amused, 536 Views | God plays practical jokes on me once in a while and I thought this one was rather cute...
While shaving one day nude (of course!), I opened up the bathroom cabinet/mirror to search and something dropped into the warm sink water.
When I picked it up, I realized it was a tube of Anusol. At that point, I really lost it (I was laughing that hard).
Yes, I can really be an ass sometimes. I admit it. | |
