Harry Reid decided in 2013 that the senate would end the filibuster for presidential nominees thus it only takes 51 votes to approve Trumps appointees. The democrats are getting it stuck to them and it is great. They were warned not to do it, but they knew best and now they have almost no way to stop Trump's nominees.
The one exception to this is an appointee to the Supreme Court, but the republicans can do the same thing that good old Harry did.
Hope the radical liberal progressives enjoy. Not changing rules is always a good idea.

The Republican headquarters in orange county North Carolina was the target of an apparent firebombing this weekend. There was a flammable liquid thrown into the building.

DNC leader Debbie Wasserman Schultz has to resign her post after the latest email revelations which seem to show that the Democrat primary was a rigged system.
The Democrats seem to have trouble with emails.

I have always thought that elections were held to determine a winning side of the election. Now it seems like the non winning side starts a petition to call for a new election on the same issue. WHERE DOES IT END?
We all face disappointment in a election, but once over time to move on unless the election was fraudulent.

Ask congressman John Lewis (D-GA) has found his name on this list. His name has been on the list for 5 years. He has trouble getting off the list. Can you imagine the difficulty of an average American on this list. He even has a letter from homeland security to no help.

Today the democrats in the House of representatives have decided to stage a sit-in to block the house from any action until they get a vote on gun confiscation control.
They say they will sit on the floor until the leader of the house schedules a vote on anti gun legislation. the house has adjourned and they are left there to sit their asses on the floor. This violates house rules, but they do not need any rotten rules.
The feed for c-span coverage has been cut so they cannot be seen on camera, but some have used they phones to get pictures out, which again violates house rules.
The democrats could have had their precious gun control if they had voted on one when they had total control in 2009 and 2010, but then they would not have been able to use it as a political stunt.

The state of Florida asked to have the pulse shooting be declared a state of emergency and the Obama administration said no which means no federal funding . They wanted help in paying for first responders, counseling and other services to people affected

At the Trump rally in Las Vegas there was a 19 year old male that decided that he was going to try and kill Trump. This person approached an armed officer and asked for an autograph, then tried to take the officers gun and he was taken down.
He had plan B in place. He also had a ticket to Trump's Phoenix rally just in case the opportunity did not happen in Las Vegas

Today the Senate voted on 4 gun control measures, 2 Democrat and 2 republicans. As to be expected all failed. Neither side would vote for the others sides measure.
From what I have read none of them would have prevented pulse shootings.
The whole exercise was to try and score political points .
