Not the site it should be

I have been on this site for over years and seen it gradually destroy itself . It has been manipulated by several guys and they have taken control and use it for their own satisfaction. Many of the blogs published are of little or no interest to guys from outside the U.S. I have no interest in what Festival Day it is or recipes for some culinary cuisine. The site has become a plaything for a few guys entertain one another through blogs that are meaningless, lack any initiative. They are copied and pasted from online material. I have come onto this site and find less than a handful of guys in the lobby. I remember the days when it was a site admired and respected for the content and conversations had. If it is the intention to close the site then get on with it as it is a total waste of time as it is. One can not receive messages unless a gold member. How pathetic and simple minded are management that instigate such rules.
I have enjoyed the site in the earlier days but find it very hard to consider paying membership for a site controlled by guys with little or no intellect.

Hello everyone,
I am unable to receive your messages as the Management of this site does not allow casual members the ability to receive messages that can be read. The reasons are known only to the Management of the site. One would believe that it is a common courtesy to be able to read messages and reply to the sender in this age . Unfortunately it appears the Management live in a time capsule that does not fulfill the needs of today's standards. I request that the Management review this policy in the interests of those using the site.

I have been a long time reader of the blogs on this site. I am disappointed to see that it has generated into a slanging match between long time members. I don't care for the intimidation and provocation that appears on these blogs. I believe that most members who spend time reading the blogs are not interested in the rubbish about who said what or who quoted this. It is time some guys need to look into the mirror and take stock of themselves and let others enjoy reading factual and informative blogs. This is not a site where guys should be allowed to show their disrespect for each other.

I have been a member of this site from Gold to Standard for over 10 years. I have seen the site slowly disintegrate from a site of good repute to now being dominated by a few. This is not good for the future of an adult site.
It appears to me that it has become a boys club and there are limits on members to express themselves.
In recent times my interest has been to follow and read the Blogs / Community section. This has now become dominated by one member who uses it to promote himself as a learned member of the community.
I am considering with serious interest my future of this site. As a Standard member there is little incentive for me to remain here or to upgrade to full membership.
I look forward to hearing from others with similar views if this blog is approved?
