The other night I had some weird dreams. I can't remember them completely, but I do remember that they invovled a lot of bugs, particularly those little Pincher Bugs, what do they call them, Silverfish?

In one dream, and I can't even remember if it was the first one or not. But in this dream, I was somewhere, in my hallyway or something, and there was a scorpion, about the size of the palm of my hand, and it was crawling on me. Well it wasn't crawling on me, but it was crawling on the blanket I was wearing around my body in the dream. So as a reaction I shuffled the Scorpion off of me, watching it fall and trying to decipher as to what kind of insect or parasite it was. As it hit the floor, it seemed as thought the arched tail on the scorpion was actually a tail of some lizard-like creature, which was equal in size to the scorpion. It still had a legs, but resembled a cross between a ghecko and a snake. As it slithered away I watched it continue to transform into other insect and reptiallian-like creatures, most of wish only had identifiable features, but were still unknown to me as to what they were.

In another dream, I am eating food, noodles or chalmane, and as I am finsihing the plate, I can see several Silverfish bugs crawling around my plate. There are not many of them, maybe five or six, but each time I would move a noodle with my fork I would see one of the slimy little bugs ominously waiting for me to accidentally eat it. Then I find myself leaving for work, even though I quit that job long ago. As my mother dropped me off in front of the store I used to work at I kept remembering that I had quit that job, and why was I going into work? As I went inside, it also dawned on me, the notion that I did not bring my uniform. I wasn't naked, like in most dreams, I was just wearing my distasteful attire of T-shirt and pants like I always do. So in this dream I am trying to call my mom to see if she can run my uniform out to me super quickly, so that I would not be late or absent from work, and so that I would also not be embarassed for forgetting my uniform for work. As the time line in my dream progressed, and work loomed over my head, I ended up decided to run hom and get the uniform myself, because for some reason I knew that if I waited for my mom to come home from driving me work and then come back out, I would be late. But, strangely enough, I knew that if I ran this distance I would get home and back to work, fully prepared, just in the nick of time. Needless to say I ended up not going to work, because I woke up.

Most things I've read suggest dreams are just your brain processing memories, thoughts and hopes without serious meaning. I occasionally have one that leaves me shaken though. Perhaps the bugs are a hint you need to cut back on the drugs. Just kidding Jesse

wow. I know that feeling of being at a job (or school) that you no longer have. I almost never remember dreams except for this kind because this kind always wakes me. seeya

Yeah, in retrospect, I think I dreamt of bugs because maybe one crawled on me in my sleep. I was sleeping on the floor at my buddy's place when I had the dreams, so maybe? If so I really don't want to think about it because I fucking hate bugs, and the thought of a bug, let alone a scorpion or spider, crawling on me while I sleep is really unnerving.

Jesse, I'm no authorthy but I do think our dreams can speak to us... my thought on this is iys a dream about you being "self reliant"... like the bugs are issues you must deal with, things that "bug" you... but somehow you find a way to deal with them.. you even go so far as to take matters in your own hands (running home to get your uniform)... also, you find them on your plate, but you do find them and you don't eat them... once again you take care of your self... even the one crawling on you, you knocked it off... IDK... but have you had some stress from being elf reliant lately??
