A MOST AMAZING WILD WEST STORY >>>> True or False ? You decide.

Perhaps the most interesting and fascinating stories of long ago have been handed down to us via Folklore. (the traditional beliefs, customs, and stories of a community, passed through the generations by word of mouth.)

Here is one of my favorites as a little boy on a reservation, I loved to sit and listen too our Medicine with his deep rich voice tell our entire gathered spellbound tribe on weekly story night!

Born in the year 1865 in the Oklahoma Territories when America's Civil War came to a much needed close, was a little female papoose her father a proud Sac Fox Indian Chief named Marjorie Highwalker!

Blossoming into a quite beautiful and stunning young woman, Marjorie Highwalker had her pick of any man both Indian and white but preferred
to remain solitary living in her own tee pee.

Strong tribal rumors told of a lone high bred male wolf coming to Marjorie after dark each night but attempts by crude new flash powder camera's back then could never capture nor confirm.

On May 28 in the year 1888, an unwed Marjorie gave birth to a still born never named . No one ever knew who the father was? Heart broken, she went into seclusion choosing to remain completely by herself. One year later, Marjorie Highwalker badly battered body was found not far from the reservation village.

Missing was her rawhide necklace with the sparkling quartz arrowhead she never took off while in deep lasting mourning in tribute to her lost unnamed dead !

Three days later, a drunken young 20 year old white man was locked up in town for a bar room fight. In his pocket was found Marjorie's missing Arrowhead leather necklace and he was immediately arrested for her murder.

It's sworn by tribal members and the townspeople alike, that during the two and half day trail, a High bred Female wolf showed up in town taking a dedicated seat in the shade across from the courthouse.

Each day when court ajourned that she wolf would sit up and loudly howl at everyone leaving the trial. On the third day when found not guilty, that wolf tried to attack the released accused by was restrained.Gone that day forever never to be seen again, were both Marjorie's accused murderer and that very same mysterious she wolf dog.

Nailed to the post announcing to beginning of the reservations boundries and as a warning and reminder to all that came, was Marjoire's glittering arrowhead and leather necklace! The words WA THO HUK carved deep within the post right under it!

Eleven years later in breaking Tribal Law, stood an 11 year old Indian boy holding Marjorie's necklace proclaiming the Great Spirit had come to him and delivered a message.

The entire tribe followed that boy to what became named as The Graveyard Bluff......A high cliff with a miraculous Giant Spruce tree growing upward near its top seemingly soaring to the heavens! (see photo graph of it below) With no ropes or help, he scaled over the top of that cliff holding the necklace in his mouth. Then he jumped some 7 feet sideways to grab a branch thus escaping certain death.

A magnificent eagles nest of some 15 feet around and eight feet deep was where he climbed up to while carefully placing the necklace deep within it. Tribal word said that two baby eaglettes were inside of it but their parents were not. Yes the stillborn infants and Marjorie's last name of HIGHWALKER somehow turned out to be perfectly chosen.

Some eight years would pass before in 1907, that same boy would enroll in a small Oklahoma Indian School called CARLISLE INDIAN SCHOOL ACADEMY!

That boy would turn out to be JIM THORPE America's greatest athlete of all times. Olympic Gold medal winner, pro football and baseball and track and field. Even the United States Ballroom dancing champion to boot.
What is most remarkable is the fact the Jim Thorpes birth certificate reads May 28, 1888. The day of Marjorie's stillbirth.

In the very last picture. Our Great Spirit in the form of the Majestic Eagle is delivering our baby boy to his final resting place in Peace!

So you decide TRUE OR FALSE??? see historical documented picturess below first.

WA THO HUK cuz. this ones for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

every redman would have loved to have lived Jim Thorpes Life.

Yes filled with failure at the end as a drunken circus side show act.
But his first 30 years were something else.

I watched this same exact story on a cable tv channel a while back.
I think it was something to do lwith Stranger than fiction.

the only part I didn't buy was eagles carrying human babies. an eagle can only carry off things under 5 pounds............
