 The tv show the Honeymooners was one of the top rated half hour television comedy shows of all time.

One very brilliant Jackie Gleason wrote all the scripts from his favorite bar stool in a high end Westport Conn Rest. &Talvern combo. located on the historic Boston Post Road and over his large water glasses of Johnny Walker Black he would drink as much as any four men in creating his original plots and storylines for this long running comedy hit .Usually from 2 to 2 1/2 hours from beginning with nothing to a complete script not needing a single word of editing.

At the end of each show as bus driver Ralph Kramden, Gleason would become rip shit angry at his alwayss right about everything wife Alice (played by Joyce Meadows or Sheila MaCrae) and explode in a mixture of SLAP STICK CHARLEY CHAPLIN TYPE PHYSICAL SUCKER PUNCHGESTERES AND LOUD VERBAL ANGER.
