 WOW, those shoes belong @ a Gay Pride parade. Not knowing your profession but speaking for myself, in a corporate atmosphere I probably wouldn't wear those shoes. As for coming out @ work I agree with Newfinder. You are the same today as you were yesterday and the day before. If it should come up fine but why is there a need to make a big announcement. If someone should ask, they are probably looking for dirt/gossip. Turn it back on them like "duh why you ask, isn't everybody like me.".

 In all honesty is it really any of their business? How many workers come up to tell you of their sexcapaids over the weekend? You got your position by being conservative why screw it up on a social issue that does not pertain to your job performance.
