NOT the same as Usual!

If you are tired of the usual boiled, fried, or scrabbled eggs I have a change of pace for you that I seen on line a while back..

Take a piece of plastic wrap about 1 foot square and lay over a basic cereal bowl.

Crack your egg or eggs into the plastic with just a touch of butter or margarine might work too. (I am just guessing on the margarine)

Lift up the corners then tie off the pouch you created with a "bread tie".

Then immerse into boiling water. I don't exactly have the timing down right to even give you a close proximity, however, hard boiled are pretty easy.

Then serve with your favorite breakfast items.

You now have a 21st century poached egg!

if ya do it right your pan stays clean so you just dump out the hot water and dry it off for next time.

An interesting way to poach eggs. Next egg Saturday, I am going to try it.

I thought so too! I know "city eggs" are not as fresh as what we get and will go all to crap with conventional poaching methods.

I hate egg shell in mine but this way is pretty easy... I might try to see how a sandwich bag works too!

I use quart freezer baggies. With summer coming up will throw in what is available/ready such as asparagus, spinach, peppers. If there is leftover ham - in it goes. Add in some shredded cheese is good too.

Just tie it off carefully and you cook your eggs and still have a clean pan.
