Mom Up-date.  My mom is a big BIG Danielle Steel fan and has many of her books, however, I managed to find two of them that she doesn't have for one of her Mother's Day gifts. Mom went to the specialists again today. None of the skin graphs or medications have worked and they must amputate her foot very soon. I will keep you all posted in here. I had my day in the hospital today too, shuffling around here and there. Many years ago I hyper extended my left ankle and they need to fix some things but after mom's "routine surgery" I am very reluctant to even consider having anything done. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to all my friends for the heartwarming birthday responses. I judge the fullness of life by the number of people I can say that I know as friends.... |

Is better to chop it off instead of having all the poisoning infections running through her body damaging other body parts. She can always get another foot. Good luck to her. Hugs....

Not bitching, but it's MRSA. I got it in a small wound in a hand 2 summers ago, am missing a finger now, instead of the whole hand, or death. Have less strength in hand, but doing good & still working full time. Pinky no longer works much, but it still works well for nose picking! lol. Your mom will be fine, she's just going through another hurdle. You've made her out to sound like a tuff lady, she's a strong person.....

I try very hard to keep up with a daily post in here to relax at the end of the day but I might just get bogged down with planting, JD and mom.
