Steak a la Bretty I will do this for individual steaks for the single guys. All that you need to do is multiply by the number of steaks that you make. It works great with 10 oz ribeyes or sirloins or as I have used a 14-16 oz T-bones. Melt 2-3 tablespoons of butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Place your steak in sprinkling with Spice Time's "Steak and Burger Seasoning" blend. Slowly fry for 8-10 minutes then flip it over. After about 5 minutes add 1/2lb of sliced mushrooms and a medium red onion slivered. (green onions also add a nice touch too) Turn heat down to simmer then add 1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon and 1 cup Marcella or Moscato wine. Simmer 45 minutes to an hour. Before serving remove the steak turning the heat to high reducing the liquid by 2/3s. Mix 1 teaspoon of corn starch in 1 tablespoon of water then whisk into the sauce. When thickened pour over steak and serve. |

So many grill their steaks instead of enjoying the buttery goodness of frying them once in awhile. Let me know how it turns out.
