A child molester who got away with it
A spoilt rich kid who went astray
A sorry excuse for humanity
A great showman above all else
A great showman who got away with it
A plastic surgeons best friend
The medical services best friend
A childs worst nightmare
tortured human being who was misunderstood

when I first heard the news I thought it was another one of his many pranks. who would have suspected the truth about him would be true at the same time it hit the news, it has never been so in the past.

I have been hearing the same song going around in the back of my mind since It hit the air waves. youtube the the opening song from the broadway show EVITA. (Oh What A Circus) the words fit MJ completely.
esp the line " We're all going to see, he did nothing for years"

I suspect he was several of those things. I was taught not to talk bad about the dead so I say leave him alone and hope better for his children.

he's nothing but a black guy who made enough money to become a white guy. so he was a one man freak show!

We all have our opinions and to me he was a person who gave himself to the world for our entertainment, and he seemed to never have peace for himself. He was used and abused by many from his dad to his promoters. May he find peace now, rest well MJ.

As an entertainer,he was great. His old man abused him a lot as he was growing up,probably more than his brothers because he was the headliner. His personal side is another story. As with Elvis, his music will live on and he should be remembered in that light.

Nobody can deny the fact that he was a great entertainer, more so, probably the best of all times. His achievements in the music industry is unparalleled to none, including Elvis. He had more hits than any other entertainer and his music will always live on, but that does not excuse the fact that he liked young boys. Had his childhood, if he had one, were different, then he probably would not have done those things he was accused of doing. May he rest in peace!

Most people can't name you five of Michael Jackson's hit songs.
Did he make a lasting contribution to musical history ? At best, he is a footnote, as a phenom. Michael was an adequate entertainer.

May he rest in peace.

he who is without fault in anyway does not exist. everyone needs to be given a break now and then for those who think he was a real bad excuse for a human being, or whatever never met him/walked in his moccosins for 10 miles or know any truth about the person for sure.
plus there is nothing new under the sun just live your own life to the fullest and let the dead rest/let the living be, we have alot of problems in this day and age we should all be more concerned with the here and now. turn that damn tv off and read a book

well he was all but the last. He was a creep and a freek! Anyone who spent 46,000.00 a month on drugs is not bad, excuess me, most of us could live a year on that. Why the sunglasses all the time? And now and was a hero to many? He ranks up there with all the bad celebs. If he is found guilt of drug charges and found not the father of 2 kids WOW.

I expect he was all of those things, certainly most of them. But if we want to talk about what we KNOW, well he was an amazing talented performer and creator. So I propose that's the best way to think of him -- no speculation needed, no guesses, no reason to wonder if we'll ever know the truth. We know that truth.

I remember the scene where he was standing on the hotel balcony in Berlin, dangling a baby over the crowd below. That killed any respect or sympathy I might have felt for him.

A few days after he died a clip from some interview was shown on CNN. Someone with a British accent was asking him about the pedophilia accusations. MJ seemed to be laughing it off as he said he was just showing love, what's wrong with that, the world needs more love, and wouldn't the reporter do the same. Horrified, his interviewer responded he wouldn't even think of doing something like that.

To answer a previous poster's question, I think the sunglasses were a response to a growing sensitivity to light over the years. I think it was a side effect of medications he took for his skin condition.

So many people have to jump to their conclusions... "they are the people who know it all." I cannot believe that so many people can pass judgment on what you would hear off of TV. So what, if it is on TV, by god it must be true? Or did he molest you so you have a first hand knowledge. People who don't know shouldn't open their mouths and
say anything bad about a person. Growing up I was called a FAG in Junior high school, I didn't even know what that was, and certainly I was still a virgin, not having had any kind of sexual contact yet. So these people who would say this to me had no idea of what they spoke... no first hand knowledge that's for sure. So I guess everyone is a Psychic these days... Sorry you should know your facts before you spew, because it makes me wanna spew.

The fact is, he admitted sleeping with young boys himself! Cant know any better than that can you? He even had the audacity to say there was nothing wrong with doing it! Tell that to those innocents whose innocence he STOLE!

Ok here we go again, yes he did admitted to sleeping with those children, not abusing them. there is a huge difference between the two and obviously you can't tell the difference. I slept with my sister, I slept with my Nephews, I slept with my best friend in the world but I didn't fuck them or even make a move on them. I was molested by a man through the ages of 7 to 12 years of age, I finally got some counseling and was able to go to the police. He was arrested and charged with several counts of sexual abuse, found guilty and spent the rest of his life in jail. Michael was acquitted of the charges, or did you forget and settled out of court on the other charges. Did he molest those children. if you are a parent I don't think you would have taken the money instead of makuing sure the perp was behind bars for the sanity of your child. At least my parents did. So like I said before you should never open the mouth unless you know what is going to come out is the truth not the truth as you believe it.

corni1947

I accept what you are saying! I was also a victim of sexual abuse as a child so don't view this topic lightly, believe me! In my case, it was my father! NO ONE believed me so he got away with it!

Sharing a bed with your friends, who presumably are close in age to yourself, or a sister or cousin, is a different matter entirely to sleeping with some one elses children!

As for admitting sleeping with them but not molesting them, COME ON! He was hardly likely to ADMIT IT was he??? Jail is a great incentive to lie! I believe he did more than just sleep with these children and money to the family of the one settled out of court was a BIG issue! They were porpers and took the chance to make themselves a better life for ALL their family! You surely cannot fault that logic?

To even just 'sleep' with some one elses child at the ages he was doing it was completely WRONG in any event and, in my very humble oppinion, would justify a custodial sentence! Thats my view. I am sorry if you don't agree, but I am entitled to my oppinion and have the right to both have it and express it! Just as you have the right to challenge it.

Be what you are not what they want you to be!

I heard that he was seen in Walmart a day before his death. He heard that little boy pants were half off. He was a child molester that got away with it and I feel that he should not be idolized

I believe he and his brothers were so abused by their asshole dad to perform that none of them really had a good chance of normal development. Many people who I respect have all said that he was an innocent, never really developing on a personal mental level much beyond adolesence, more or less being held hostage by his own emotional 'undevelopment'. This was enhanced by his inability to have normal friends or relationships anywhere in his life. His escape from his "life dungeon" was his performances ... he could become himself ... a real person. But away from that, he was just a shy child, doing child things. I was, at one time, one of his distractors saying he was a "molestar" till I talked to some of my friends who knew him well. I put stock into what they say ... one is a fairly good shrink and deals with this subject a lot. I really feel sorry for him, and his brothers. I believe his dad should be put into solitry confinement and kept away from the family, particularly the grandkids. I just hope the "Michael Fantasy" dissapates quickly and the media leaves his kids alone to develop in some what a normal fashion.

Thanks manready3. I appreciate your input. As for Michael, I reserve judgement. His judgement was certainly poor! As for his father, HE is stil at it. Did you see what he did with his grand daughter at the funeral, making her get up to a mic and speak publicly when her poor wee heart was breaking! THAT thing should be put down. He is so damned manipulative !

I think Michael Jackson was a musical genius and a creative marketeer. He knew who he should surround himself with to maximize his potential. I also think that Michael Jackson was severely mentally ill with a personality disorder that was due in part to the atypical environment in which he grew up. Being Michael Jackson when he was a very young boy warped him and his view of the world was a perspective that nobody else could have. Yes, he's misunderstood. But he also was a freak.
