Not to much to report except that these imcisions are itching like a bitch and I seem to be losing weight.I am starting to notice the way my belly is shaped differently and my face is starting to thin out a bit.My family says that they can see it.Probably harder to see on myself.Still no hunger but am starting to have cravings for some things. Broasted Chicken,OMG! I've dreamt about it.I finally had mom pick me one up at the store 3 days ago and just finished it tonite.I took little tiny bites and chewed it super well and washed it down with plenty of water.Did'nt seem to hang up at all,but did cause a bit of the heartburn.The lack of crunch is starting to bother me,I chew sugar free gum almost constantly but that does'nt relieve the want for something crunchy.I stayed away from the town festivities last weekend as well as a good friends house party.Did'nt want the temptation of the alcohol and all the good food.I've been walking quite a bit and am starting to do easy exercises.I've been cleaning and sorting thru things to get rid of.I have hundreds of books that I want to donate or take to the book trader.It gives me something to do and keeps me busy.My garden is doing well now that I found the potion to keep the deer out,last nite it did get down into the 30s and its seems to be getting cold again tonite.So it will most likely freeze everything before I can get any harvest.My last freeze was the 10th of July.Only solitary sex so far.But did get a promise for next week from a guy that I've been in love with since I was in kindergarten.He is about 6yrs older than me half black and absolutely gorgeous,High school football star and I finally seduced him about 10 years ago and have been enjoying his company whenever he gets tired of the old ball and chain and her demands and rules. But thats a whole different story and topic line. thanks and Huggs to you all. Love Ricky

OK Ricky, now I'm getting jealous...you starting to get all svelte on me while I continue indulging on the crunchy stuff. ha! I bet by Thanksgiving you'll be at least 100 or more pounds lighter! I'm glad to hear you're keeping busy, active & exercising as it'll help tighten up some of the loose skin as you lose the weight. Man you've got a lot to look forwards to. Must be fun just getting up every morning & seeing your shadow getting smaller & 'stubby' looking bigger, eh. Hugs darlin, Clint

Good to hear that you are progressing. I have never been one who can avoid temptation so I give you props for your fortitude. I am sure it is harder for you to notice the weight loss than it is for others so you must be doing well. With your "exercise" regimine have you noticed that your hand is getting thinner as well? Peace, Craig
bigricky63 replies on 8/1/2008 12:55 pm: I have'nt noticed it getting any thinner but I can crack a wall nut with my right hand.Temptation is not as bad as the cravings,I just need a hot horny man around to keep my mind on excercise and off of food. Huggs Ricky |

HI Ricky ,
Glad to hear your doing better .
How did you keep the deer out of your garden ??? The elks and deer cleaned all my apples off the trees and grape's off the vines , barely left any of the vines. LOL
And your already getting other offers , ...Hugs Jim
bigricky63 replies on 8/1/2008 12:51 pm: Jim, the stuff I used for the deer is called Liquid Fence.It is a terribly fowl smelling stuff that is made from putrescent egg solids and garlic,you just put it in a spray bottle and spray on and around your plants and they will not mess with them.I've watched them come into the yard and only come within about 8feet and then shake their heads turn and walk off.That is with only one application I am going to respray today as I did catch a doe trying my petunias last nite,so it muxt be wearing down.I bought this thru the Big R farm supply and it was about 22dollars per gallon. Give it a try and hope that it works for you. Huggs Ricky |

Ricky...I can tell you're losing weight by just reading your blog...you 'sound' thinner.
I'm not sure if Chiclets puts out a sugar-free gum or not, but if they do you could get a bit of crunch from the coating they put on them.
Just an idea...ya...dumb one, but better than nothing.
Keep up the good work! And good luck with your 'beau'! Steve

Great news, Ricky. Keep up the good work. Would chewing crushed ice help with the crunchy part? hugs, ron
bigricky63 replies on 8/1/2008 12:43 pm: hi Ron. It is working and I do eat alot of ice,and S.F.gum but its the cracker type crunch or carrots and celery type that I miss.The dr said none of those type vegis yet as they are stringy and hard and could easily if not completely chewed block up the exit thru the band and cause me to be sick until I could dislodge whatever iscausing the holdup.So I sill just keep being patient and just have a tate of something when the temptation becomes to much. You and people who see you regularly probably won't see the difference so dramatically. For now it'll be best to avoid temptation rather than to try and resist it. But you seem to have it all under control. 'Old habits die hard', so you can bet there'll be moments. Just focus on your goals.
bigricky63 replies on 8/1/2008 12:38 pm: Bobby, I know what you mean about everyday being hard to see,but it is starting to go and there are subtle little differences.I plan on doing alot of things I have'nt been able to or felt like doing in a long time. Huggs Ricky |

Hey Ricky;
It sounds like things are going according to plan. Are you allowed to eat solid food yet? No cheating. But I guess I could forgive you if you do!
When I feel there's going to be a frost, I will cover my garden with sheets or tarps. I'll shove a few sticks in the ground between the more delicate plants to keep the weight off of them. If you think there's going to be a real deep frost, you can do the tarps with a couple of green light bulbs under it. (Plants don't see green so it doesn't disturb their day/night cycle.)
Continued good luck.
Hugs;

bigricky63 replies on 8/1/2008 12:36 pm: Terry, I have succumbed to temptation just a couple of times,but with the extra chewing and tiny bites it seems to wash down rather well.I think the no solids is mainly a precaution against tearing out sutures if you eat to much.I just get cravings and little tastes seem to satisfy,besides it only takes a small amount and I feel full.Yeah I suppose that I will have to get out my tarps and sheets but dangit its only the first of august.Its a constant battle between the deer and cold whether I get anything for my efforts or not.
