In Greek mythology, Pandora opened a jar left in her care, containing sickness, death and many other unspecified evils, which were then released into the world. Though she hastened to close the container, only one thing was left behind – Hope. Because I have HSV-2 [herpes] and a scarred right leg [from a burning accident when I was 4 years old], like Pandora’s Box, I am only left with Hope. I have HSV-2 [check the Internet], which I got in El Salvador years ago [1985]. More recently, my Physician’s Assistant told me in a visit last year [2019], I need to be careful when I have the tell-tale rashes on my upper-right buttock. They occur once every 4-6 weeks for about 3-5 days: I can then have safer sex. I still use a condom as a force of habit, which I used overseas for years. [There was even a year when I used Saran wrap for rimming.] Never did any sex partner ever say anything about contacting an illness from me.
Since El Salvador, I have also lived in Bolivia, Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain, Austria, Thailand, and Cambodia, where I had sex with men and women, always wearing a condom. For the last 20 years, I gave up on women and now choose only men near my age for sex. I have tried to have nude pictures taken of me by someone not living in Okawville IL, but I have had no success which is why I don’t have pictures to show. In 2016, I had a stroke while walking on the streets of Phnom Penh, so I am disabled in that regard. [Unfortunately, I was on a paved street when I fell: not on a grass lawn.] I do not talk and think like I used to when I was an International English teacher [Middle School, High School, and College]. I have to sometimes speak slowly, so I don't jumble my words. It doesn't mean I don't understand what is said to me or what is going on around me, but I have to be more careful. On the same vein, I detest liars and braggarts . . . with a passion.
So, if my HSV-2 and physical scars are definite negative factors, don't bother contacting me. I am looking for a long-term relationship with someone who can travel as I have no car and no driver’s license. I live in a small town [pop. 1,400] without a bus or train service.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone who is pretty much like myself: roughly same age, height, weight, and temperament. He could be somewhat younger, but it is not a must. I would like to see such a person regularly, if we are compatible. Quite frankly, I am looking for a boyfriend. The person I am seeking must be thin-to-average, for I exercise every day. I often go walking or jogging which I do often when weather permits. Nevertheless, I still do daily calisthenics. Plus, I'm from the Sixties, so I have a ponytail.
